One Breath at a Time invites you to join us in making a difference in the lives of countless people who, due to lung disease, find the simple act of breathing virtually impossible.  

Our Mission:  To assist lung transplant recipients, their families and support systems throughout the transplant process and to promote the importance of organ donation.

Our Commission:  To establish ongoing financial resources in order to ensure the achievement of our mission.

Our Immediate Goal:  Establish a Tampa Bay Lung Transplant Home with multiple small apartments to provide temporary living quarters for Tampa General Hospital's out-of-town and out-of-state patients and their families during the initial evaluation, clinic visits, checks ups, transplant episode and post-operative care.

Our Ultimate Goal:  Establish a Tampa Bay Lung Transplant Clinic and Research Institute that provides patient care, participates in clinical research and facilitates basic science for the advancement of successful lung transplants.
